So I’m down here in Fernandina Beach, FL visiting with some friends and trying to take a vacation… lol… I say “trying” since it seems that while I’m down here, I’ve dealt with studio issues, submitted print orders, and even had a shoot scheduled today. lol. Guess it’s hard to really be on a full vacation. But I still had a great time with my friends! Anyway, here are a few shots I took Sunday evening as the sun was setting.
The Sun drops down on the horizon…

A boat docked at the pier. You can see the paper mill in the background.

And the Sun is almost completely below the horizon…

The last bit of glow that’s left…

Finally, a line of boats at the dock, the paper mill in the back…

Here’s a shot I took back in August… the sun was going down, and the storm clouds had just starting moving out. The sun filtering through the clouds gave these amazing colors…. Like a “Fire in the Sky”…

Some people think I’m crazy for getting up at 5:30 in the morning while on vacation…. but I think it’s worth it! This was shot just this morning, as the sun was coming up right here in North Myrtle Beach, SC! I hope you enjoy it!

Happy Earth Day! Again, to celebrate Earth Day, here’s a scenic shot of our beautiful world! This is the other shot I took yesterday morning as I was on my way to Harrisburg. The patchy fog was rolling through hills, and the view from the top was just amazing!
