April Fooled…

Ok… so this morning, I updated my personal Facebook status, and sent an email out to some of my closest friends…

I’m contemplating giving up. Things just aren’t working out. I don’t know if it’s the business end of things, or the photography, but I just can’t hack it. I have some Canon L lenses, a 5D, and a 1D Mk III among other studio items. If I sell what I have, I can be out of debt… It just may be really hard to walk away from my passion… But I think it’s time to end things…

Yes… it’s April 1st… yes… this is an April Fool’s joke… lol… Sorry! But I have to admit that I did have fun with it! lol! Some people weren’t fooled… Others were… Some even pointed out that it’s been done before (which had I been following Scott’s blog prior to this year, I might have known and not done this on my own, lol). But none the less, I got some interesting responses… some in public view, others private. Some people were upset, some confused. But I did actually get a lot of good advice, even if it wasn’t actually needed. Anyway, here are the comments from the Facebook post… Till next year, Happy Lie Like a Dog and Get Away With it by Saying “April Fools!” Day! ;) lol!
